Finally I hit the milestone mark of 10,000 page views on DeviantART and this is my massive picture to celebrate, and a tribute to all my wonderful friends on dA. Despite the warning, I urge you to full view or miss out on the massive details I put into this. I hope you all enjoy this wonderful picture, as I had a blast making it. I put on as many friends as I could, but a few missed out, so I will have honorable mentions at the bottom of this HUGE description.
To help out all those that don't know the characters and whom they represent, I've included this little guide to help you all, starting from the top and going down, left to right. At the extreme top is my character Okura, whom everyone knows as my trademark character.
(Unless otherwise stated, all characters are copyrighted to the person they are assigned to)
Kano - - You've been a friend to me and shown me much in the orca community online. I owe you quite a bit as a friend for the wonderful things you've taught me about orcas and the theme parks. You showed me to sites such as Orca's Wake and I have made many new friends there.
Stenellya - - You have been a good friend to me in the past, despite the fact that we met up in the belief we would be meeting the following year.I've enjoyed talking to you in the past, but sadly I seem to keep missing you these days. I hope we get to talk again soon.
Black Leviathan - - You don't know how much I love drawing your character Atolm. She is a wonderful piece of art and is beautiful to draw in my style. You have been there for me, providing support and willing to help out, even giving me my very first comission piece, which helped to shape my character Okura. Thank you so much Atolm. You will always be one of the world's greatest artists in my eyes.
Paleo - - One of the coolest and funniest guys I know, Paleo you are a funny guy to hang around with, and you remind me of a mirror copy of myself. You're a smart and funny guy, even with your own little webcomic and I am impressed as your art style continues to improve.
Kameira Dragon - - What more can I say? I love this girl and her art, simply because she is so damn impressive. Your cartoons rival mine and your friendship is highly valued by me. After all, you put up with me constantly requesting pics and suggesting things. Not many people could do that, so cookies for you Kam!
Alina - - Kara, you have been there for me and have helped me gain some footing and confidence towards attacking the forums of Orca's Wake. Through you, I've gained even more wonderful friends, but even still you are there and you care for me. I thank you again for all your kind actions to a stranger like me.
Tani Tiger - - Tani, you were the first person I befriended on the Crash forums, and as we have often stated to one another, neither you nor I were Crash n00bs. You've helped me several times and I've helped you. It was a surprise to learn that you were from New Zealand as well. I hope you are enjoying the game I sent you as well.
Akua - - Meg, you've shared things with me before such as photos and information. I've sometimes made mistakes and even then, you have stood beside me. I know we don't happen to talk much online, but to be honest with you, the main reason is that I am still the slightest bit shy when in the presence of someone as well known as you. It surprises me that even after my mistakes and shortcomings, you still value and consider me a friend, and I thank you greatly for that honor.
Artreus - - Dude, you are one of the coolest guys I know. You've been there to help me though times both good and bad, and I can honestly say are one of my best of friends. It is funny how we look somewhat alike, with me being your 'evil twin' as you once put it, but yes. We share a friendly rivalry (Haha! I hit 10k before you!) and despite it all, we are still good mates.
Venturer - - ClanKeeper has been a good friend of mine since the age of CoH, with her introduction of the FanFiction contest that I won (and had fights over with people accusing me of cheating!) but either way, she has proved to be a cool customer whom I enjoy hanging out with and talking to.
Okapi - - Quite possibly the first friend I ever made online, Okapi has stuck to me through thick and thin as I have been there for her. It's been a wonderful friendship and I hope it lasts a number of years more to come.
Helki - - Steph, you were a sudden and welcome surprise to my friends list. You are a wonderful friend, and an awesome artist and I am proud to know that you acknowledge me as your friend. I enjoy your chats and always look forward to a chat with you.
Slumper - - Okay, the first person I met online that I met in real life. Sad to have left Tauranga, but mind, Jafa-ville is got more opportunities for me here. Always coming up with random pictures, facts or trivia, you are a constant form of amusement.
Step - - You are awesome. Another great artist who like so many of my friends, you are from the CoH era. You always cheer me up and I love our little contest to see who speaks first in the chat! I enjoy our chats about cartoons and Disney as well.
Silverstreak - - I'll admit it; I wasn't going to put you in, but the truth is, you have been there for me... Even if you are annoying at times. So yeah, thanks for being there little man... I won't eat you this once.
Seiya - - An awesome artist, you got me into cartoon orcas with your fantastic cartoon styles. Your pictures always capture a massive degree of cuteness and wonderful looks. They are beautiful and I enjoy the odd chat to you about anything whenever the rare chance presents itself.
Cyan - - A wonderful friend, because of time differences we rarely get to talk, but I enjoy any time we do get the chance. I always wanted to attempt to draw your Stampedes for a while, and here was the perfect chance!
Cariu - - Do I really need to say anything. My girlfriend and love couldn't miss out at all!
Kashe - - Angie, you have been a wonderful friend, always supportive and willing to talk whenever I find you online (Which isn't always very easy...). Thanks again for being there.
Glimmer - / - Mel, you are another talented artist whom I love to talk to. Your art is impressive and wonderful and your friendship to me has been a wonderful thing. I hope to see you online more and talk a bit more.
Honorable Mentions
IE - People who aren't in the picture, but are still valued friends to me. You either weren't active on dA, hadn't joined at the time of the picture or for other reason, I was unable to put you in.
Many congrats on the 10k, my friend! You deserve them!
And for once, I'm not afraid to hug ya!
